2011 Airplane Known Maneuvers
- Rolling Circle:
Starting from level upright flight, perform 2 points of an 8 point roll to the outside (knife edge). This is immediately followed by a one roll rolling circle to the inside (opposite roll direction), ending up in knife edge at the entry point (beginning) of the rolling circle. Immediately following, perform a 2 points of an 8 point roll back to level flight.
- Rolling Loop:
The aircraft performs a (4 roll) rolling loop with 1 roll in each quarter. All the rolls are the same direction (pilot’s choice). NOTE: The aircraft enters and exits the loop on the 45 degree up-line.
-
Stall Turn:
From straight and level flight the model performs a stall turn with a full roll on the entry radius, followed by a ¾ negative snap on the up-line. After the stall turn (down line) the model performs one positive snap, followed by a 1 roll (opposite from the snap) exit on the radius to level flight. (note - The model will be exiting on a different heading than the entry)
