I did not find the answer to my question here. How do I get further assistance?
How do I purchase a transmitter without the crystal/module in it so I can use it in another country?
FCC regulations do not allow us to sell transmitting equipment without the appropriate frequency equipment installed. You can purchase a modular transmitter for use outside the country and will simply need to purchase a new module and receiver in your country to use the equipment there safely.
Can I buy a receiver from you on 72MHz then have someone change it to a different frequency band (IE 35MHz) used in my country?
No. The entire circuit board in the RX would have to be changed to do this.
I live outside the U.S. What radios can you sell me that I can use here?
FCC regulations do not allow us to stock or sell crystals for frequencies not legal in the U.S. Therefore we cannot stock crystals, modules or receivers on your legal channels. You should contact the Futaba distributor in your country to purchase crystals for your legal frequencies. We stock crystals for 27MHz, 50MHz, 72MHz, and 75MHz only.
I am outside of the U.S. How do I go about contacting the distributor in my region of the world?
Please refer to our International Contacts page.
Can I use a radio bought in the US in other countries or vice versa?
In many cases, yes! This is the primary reason for creating the module-based radios is so that international users can fly the same systems in different countries. All modular radios, such as 3PJ, 8U, 9C, 9Z, etc, can be used in other countries by simply changing the module. Of course, they require new receivers in that country on the proper band.
