Do I trim my GY520 in the gyro's heading hold setting?
When using the GY520, it is imperative for the modeler to trim the helicopter in the Normal mode and not using the gyro's heading hold settings. All Futaba gyros have some amount of AVCS gain pre-programmed from the factory. If the model is trimmed while compensating for this, the model would exhibit poor tendencies in certain flight conditions.
