If I switch models on the 9Z WC2 radio equipped with a synthesized module, will the channel assignment change to match the model? Meaning, if I had model number one on channel 16 and model number two is a model running on channel 60, will the module switch from 16 to 60 when I change models?
No. The channel must be changed through the FRQ menu each and every time a new channel is needed. Power must also be cycled to reinitialize the radio on the new channel after changing it.
