Radio System FAQHow do I program a four-servo delta wing setup on the 9Z? I want to make the two servos in each wing should act as both elevator and aileron. To confirm, you want both of the controls on the left side go the opposite direction from those on the right side when aileron stick is commanded, and all four servos go up and down together for elevator stick. The trim levers should work on all four servos for both elevator and aileron trim. You can't use the default delta setup in the transmitter, as it uses a maximum of three servos, and you want to use four. Programmable mixers will do the job, but you'll have to spend some time working with them to get the trim settings to work properly with all the servos. The trick is to use both the Flaperon and Ailevator pre-programmed mixing functions. (The folllowing guidelines are from Don Edberg's upcoming Book on Programming the 9Z. For further information on the Don Edberg programming books, please visit your favorite hobby shop and ask for items from Dynamic Modeling, vendor DMN, or visit the web page at http://home.flash.net/~dynamic3/) Mixing Example: "Space Shuttle" Mixing (for Enforcer Ducted Fan) Programming A Four-Control Flying Wing
That's it! Your 4 channel delta wing is ready to fly! |
