Radio System FAQ
How can I vary my onboard glow with throttle position?
This is easily done using a programmable mix. Simply make throttle the master channel, the glow starter channel the slave channel, make the mix negative so the lower the throttle position the more power to the glow starter. You will need to adjust the percentage of the mix until the driver is powered up how you desire it at low throttle, etc.
The glow starter is still adjustable on the primary control for that channel (ie. channel 7 knob) unless you have disabled the knob. If you don't want that control, you'll need to disable the knob. In the 9C and 9Z you do so by going into the function or auxiliary channel screens and select NULL as the control for that channel. To do so with the 8U, please see the FAQ for turning off a dial/knob.
