I am trying to set up an unusual model which has just 2 servos similar to the 'elevon' feature described in my manual, except that the servos can only go from center to down and have no 'up' travel. Can I set up the 6X so that when I give right aileron the left aileron goes up and the left aileron stays stationary; with left aileron the opposite occurs, and with down elevator, the two servos drop together?
No. The 6XAS cannot operate this complex function you have requested. The elevon programming on the 6X is very powerful but is not meant to offer single directional control. However, an 8U Super or 9Z WC2 could and the setup would be surprisingly easy. This would be done using elevons, which are more extensive in the 8U Super and the 9Z WC2 radios than the very basic functions provided in the 6X.
