I am trying to set up a snap mix that will control the total amount of throw on my other control surfaces move my throttle. An example would be; at idle I would get 30% up and down elevator, at full throttle I would get only 20%. I would also like a smooth transition in the elevator from low to high.
Set this up using a condition that named "elevator on throttle". Set this to Switch F in the up position, and make it separate so that this would not affect any other setup.
Then go into the D/R menu. Select Elevator, and with the condition switch in the up position, set the AFR to 30% for both rates. Go into the D/R setup and set the first rate to Off, name the rate Idle, and at the Switch selection set this to J3. Go into the ON position, select Linear, and set the throttle stick to idle position, press enter to set the on/off position. Last, go back into the AFR D/R screen, move the throttle stick to the high side so that IDLE appeared in the name, set those rates to 20%.
Now when you flip the condition switch (switch F) you get 30% elevator at low idle and only 20% elevator at full throw. Otherwise without the use of this condition, you get normal control surface movement throughout.
