I am trying to send my model set up to a friend but can't copy and paste or even view anything on the SD card. I use Windows XP and "normal" programs. What should I do to send him the files?
The 12FG uses a file system that is different from the general system (FAT, NTFS, etc.) that a PC uses. You cannot copy the model data from the SD card onto your PC by using Windows Explorer.
Futaba designed utility software (Futaba File System Utility) to use to copy the model data between your 12FG and your PC.
This utility can be found on the web site and is a free download.
